    As a Risk Management Analyst you will provide IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability systems.  The successful candidate will ensure the security and integrity of the customer’s systems and networks by identifying vulnerabilities, applying remediation, and maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience contributing to mission critical projects, a deep understanding of information security, a strong work ethic, proven ability to work well in a highly dynamic environment and a passion for implementing the latest technical advancements.

     

    Essential Functions

    The Risk Management Analyst responsibilities include:

    • Supports the data gathering and development of documentation to provide vulnerability assessment at the system level
    • Conduct periodic scans of the network systems using tools to identify vulnerabilities and ensure security compliance
    • Review networks and IAS for vulnerabilities and advise leadership on IA processes and procedures and make recommendations for compliance
    • Perform IA and mitigation/remediation efforts to ensure appropriate STIG compliance
    • Perform duties that pertain to planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining AIS
    • Implement policies and procedures to protect the integrity and availability of systems, networks, and data
    • Produce daily updates and status reports for Certifying Authorities
    • Develop plans to safeguard data against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure
    • Solid understanding of federal government and/or DoD IA security controls
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other senior professionals across functions
    • Experience coordinating with customers regarding IA requirements
    • Ability to convey technical implementation measures and design strategies in compliance with regulation and policy
    • Knowledge in drafting security control exception justification as part of risk assessment/management

    Desired Skills & Experience

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

    Qualifications

    • Active Secret Clearance
    • Minimum 2 years of related experience in systems administration or network support.  Additional experience may be substituted for a degree
    • Security+ certification (if Bachelor's degree requirement is not met)
