Overview

The primary mission for the IT Support Analyst is to support the Kinney Colleagues who are located in both Indianapolis & Remote.

 

The Duties of the IT Support Analyst include but are not limited to:

 

  • Team Membership
    • Collaborate effectively with the other Engineering, Security & POPS team members
    • Provide input to line management regarding personal development & training
  • Technology Expertise
    • Understand the capabilities of the technologies for which they are a Subject Matter Expert
    • Broad systems and technology expertise including demonstrable expertise in troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Understand the technologies used within our company to identify new usage opportunities.
  • Ensure that company security and process standards are implemented in all support requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to present to internal, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • General Can-Do attitude

Desired Skills & Experience

  • MAC OSx, support and Apple Hardware support
  • Networking Fundamentals: IP Addressing and Routing Basics, Network Segmentation, Firewall Basics, Wireless Networking basics
  • Minimum 2 years experience in IT, with demonstrable progressive responsibility.
  • Experience with a ticketing system such as ZenDesk, ServiceNow or other
  • Experience with supporting Telephone systems & PBX systems
  • Experience with supporting Video Conferencing tools such as Skype, Webex
  • Understanding of how to Manage User Accounts in Microsoft Active Directory
  • User account management in email or other systems

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Networking Expertise: Hands on expertise with routers, switches, firewalls and/or load balancers
  • Understanding of Email concepts (DNS MX records, Spam Filtering concepts)
  • Understanding of DNS concepts (A records, CNAMES)
  • Understanding of Mobile Device Management tools such as Meraki
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology study preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to self-prioritize and manage requests from multiple stakeholders
