Job Description:

Kinney Group is seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in SharePoint development and testing. This is a 6-month assignment for a talented consultant with a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Development and testing duties will include:


  • Administer corporate SharePoint 2010/2013 Portal
  • Provides customer account creation/administration support
  • Manages permissions and accesses
  • Troubleshoots SharePoint and Project Server issues that arise.
  • Defines systems requirements based on user/client needs, business processes, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
  • Defines technical standards and functionality tests related to any functional SharePoint configuration changes.
  • Creates User Acceptance Testing documentation for custom SharePoint solutions.
  • Works closely with developers to create test environment for custom SharePoint solutions.
  • Monitors server performance, including SQL backups, drive space, and event logs.
  • Creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), outlining SharePoint best practices and standards for the SharePoint 2010 and 2013 environments


Migration candidates need to be extremely familiar with SharePoint migrations and SharePoint releases. The candidate will provide SharePoint website development/troubleshooting in support of migrations

  1. Maintain/Create/troubleshoot solutions and page modifications with SharePoint Designer and or Visual Studio.
  2. Working daily with PowerShell to support multiple SharePoint environments.
  3. Review/troubleshoot Scripts and code written in multiple languages such as C# and JavaScript



Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.



5-8 years of related software development experience.
